Name the single best/coolest/most amazing watch you've seen in the wild

I know we've got some threads on watches seen in the wild, but what if you had to pick just one? Of everything you've seen on a stranger's wrist, what's the one that sticks out the most? Doesn't have to be the most expensive (though it could). Maybe it's just a neat vintage piece, or a custom job, or maybe it was that $30k Patek.

    I'm interested in your stories.

I saw a Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar on a domestic flight while in First Class, and a Girard-Perregaux tourbillon in the elevator of the Eiffel Tower.

Recently saw a Rolex 6538 Big-Crown sub that looked beat to hell on the street. Bet the gentleman didn't even know what he was wearing, hah.

I dunno, my archaeology professor wears a fairly beat up Sub, and the story behind how it got that way is pretty badass... (It involves armed thieves, priceless artefacts that obviously had a price and him trying to subtly kick the watch under a table on a concrete floor so it didn't get taken as well, or more so that he wasn't going to get shot for it.) Thus it gets my nomination for coolest watch I've seen in the wild.

The guy knows it's a Rolex, he knows that it's a pricey object. He also doesn't mother it.

Nothing at all really. I saw a Panerai once and a bunch of Rolexes, Omegas and TAGs but that's about it.

Saw an AP Millenary at a hotel restaurant. Thought that was quite unique.

does my mom's rolex datejust count? she gives new meaning to the term tool watch. that watch is on her wrist almost 24/7. she wears it while gardening, while goung to amusement parks and riding roller coasters and everything in between. she even wears it when she sleeps sometimes so it won't die. she doesn't mind getting it scratched up and banged up as she sends it for polishing and service every couple of years or when the scratches accumulate. really amazing.

coolest warch i saw in the wild had to be a PP nautilus in a casino table. he was flanked with guys with gold and diamond covered rolexes more expensive than his nautilus in a high roller table but his SS nautilus was by far the coolest.
