That's exactly my point. For a limited edition or high end piece the box and papers could be important. But evey single watch, high end, low end, in-between end, it's really uncalled for. I would sell the box and papers of a generic Rolex to save some money on the watch. Maybe the bracelet too if I won't use it. I'm a hard case, I know.

"Stunning" – unless it really means "rendered semi-conscious from the robust application of a blunt instrument" it’s meaningless. And how about "may need new battery"? It either does (it won’t go) or it doesn’t (it does go). As for "Wow!" or "Check this out!" the perpetrators should be taken somewhere quiet and drowned. Just my opinion.

Sounds like a good approach to me as it is guaranteed that no matter what accuracy I measure the seller will have different results, probably worse, and demand his money back.

Yep. Besides, during postage, the watch goes through a lot of scanners which affect how much the watch is or isn't magnetized.

Would it be better to write "oh ya getting ALL the wrist time, toilet, rock climbing, medical prostate exams, boxing practice, HIIT gym, marathon running, no matter what THIS WATCH IS ON TEH WRIST"? That's an improvement?

Not getting wrist time = positive, because it means the watch isn't actively at risk of picking up undisclosed damage or pieces of airborne poop.

Statistically speaking, if a dive watch has actually been dived with in a sea or ocean, it has been floating in dinosaur and whale pee.
