Need advice on rose or yellow gold for longines master complications

Hi, I fell in love with the longines master complications, and I was about to buy the SS model but I am considering the 18 K rose or yellow gold, so my question to the experts is what would you recomend and why: gold or ss, if gold, rose or yellow ? Also this will be one in a lifetime investment so disregard the price issue . Thanks!!

I'm no expert hernan but I would go for 18k if it were solid rose gold. It's a 'busy' watch and I think gold would be easier on my eyes [looking at the gold one I can take in the whole of the face and case....easier on the eye; Whereas with the SS my interest is more focused inward to the dial]. Of course solid over plate would wear better/much longer and one would be inclined to show it off more often.
    Classy watch.
