Need advice on watch for my wife...

I'm looking for recommendations for a watch for my wife. Here's what I'm looking for:
    - Very plain readable dial...like a pilot's watch - Sinn 656 comes to mind, so no chronographs with multiple dials.
    - She'd like a second hand.
    - She's ok with a larger watch, so 40 - 42mm is ok.
    - Quartz (she's not a big auto fan)
    - Looking to spend up to $350 (she wouldn't want a watch that costs more)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Laco make some nice traditional Pilots design. Quartz too, but I am unsure if the price is within your limit.

Citizen makes an ecodrive that is pilot inspired. It retails for $195, but you can probably get it cheaper. Here's a link:

    $107 from amazon -- http://www.amazon.com/Citizen-Eco-Dr...8684237&sr=8-1

I would look at Tissot also - their base line can be had for that price and comes with great features like sapphire crystal, etc.

also the PR50 -- nice readability on the white or black dials -- quartz for under your price and the size is probably good.

Try the Citizen Eco Drive AT0660 series

Quartz, pilot style, $150-200 and comes in two colourways.

Cant go wrong with a Swiss Army or Tissot. SA (Victorinox) has a variety of different pilot / military style available. Cheers
