    Need a Daily Beater!

    Hello everyone!

I have nearly all of my watch needs met! I got a diver for my dad and an heirloom piece for myself, so my collection and needs are almost met!

The last piece I need is a daily beater. I tried various plastic/resin watches, as well as various digitals, but they so far have been lacking some sort of “class.”

My job takes me from executive meetings to crawling through construction crawl spaces, and everything in between. I also need to disinfectant/sanitize my equipment from time to time with hospital grade solvents. I am looking for a stainless steel or titanium daily beater that can handle the abuse, but look classy while doing it.

I am open to pretty much anything as long as it fits the following:
-analog (numerals, dots, hash marks, don’t care as long as it’s legible)
    -stainless case and band
    -durable crystal
-solar or automatic (don’t want to worry about battery changes)
    -durable overall
-very water resistant as it will see a lot of water and liquids
-easily sourced from major online or local retailers

My all in budget is 150 USD, but the lower the better. I am very open to your opinions with the above in mind! What do you think?

    Thanks!

Casio Edifice are classic design and look good in a more formal as well as being tough. Many styles to look at, 2 hand, 3 hand, ani-digi, Chrono, many can be found from $60-200.

I've been looking at the Citizen Promaster Tough. Built with endurance and longevity in mind, but retains a functional, traditional look. If there's another stainless analog watch in my future, that's probably it. Possibly the Victorinox INOX also. The Promaster appeals due to never needing a battery and it's priced to be budget friendly. The biggest knock I read in reviews is the date window is too small (with my vision, that effectively means I can't use it without adding an aftermarket bubble magnifier).

I always liked my Citizen BN0000-04H before I lost it... Nice design, highly legible, 300m WR... And it's in the price range if you're willing to go grey market
