    Need help getting 'Dressed'

When I look at my collection I don't have a 'quiet dress watch' so looking for suggestions for a bit of class (yeah I know I'm picky)

Square Case Preferred - round if it's classy big
Leather Strap - or I'll use my own
    Prefer Gold colored Case
    Date or Chrono
    Nice Clean Dial
    Less than a Thousand

Something that looks good with a suit or dress shirt - I'm not in to 'bling' maybe something that makes my clients say - "nice watch you got there by the way"

I once believed watch collecting was an acceptable vice.

    Ball(1), Breitling(1), Casio(2), Citizen(1), Hamilton(1), Seiko(3), Stauer(1), Stowa(1)

Here: Tissot Desire quartz. Classy and inexpensive. Also available in gold-plate, and some other variations. I happen to prefer this one. It is a pure, old-fashioned, men's dress watch.

I have a suggestion, it's not a gold case, but it does have a clean dial.

Oris Miles....I believe it is in the 1k and under territory...

    It's a good size too....

I have an accutron 26b49 as my dress watch. I realize that techincally it should have a leather strap but the bracelet was too damn nice to pass up (they do make a strap version). It has 2824 movement and the price was $200 online.. great deal.

You can't see very well in the picture but the black dial has a vertical pinstripe pattern.

What about a reversible Rotary? I have a stainless steel auto. I am not sure if the autos come in gold or not. I have seen the quartz in gold.

The quartz versions have two faces with different colors / styles. Mine displays the movement on the reverse.

What about Jacques Lemans? They have loads of square men's watches, simple dials, gold faces, with both leather and bracelet straps, for <$1K...
