    need lotus info setup

    Hi

I just got a used watch from my father in Spain. it is Lotus alarm chronograph (satainless steel) and I don't know how to set up the time. it has two push buttons on the left and on the right there is a push button on top, a push button on the middle that can be pulled out, and a wheel on the bottom right that can also be pulled out. I looked on the internet but I see nothing (extrange). the brand logo says Lotus with a little arrow on top pointing to the left.

    THANKS

Well, 4 pushers indicate that there are some subdials in the dial. A pic would help. So maybe somebody owning a similar watch can help you.

    Re: need lotus info setup

I tried many things but no luck. When I pull out the right-middle push botton and the right-lower wheel (halfway), the time moves fast clockwise but no matter what I do or press, when I put back any of those bottons, the time goes back to the starting time :(

Can anybody give me an idea to try so that I can set the time?

Sorry, I can´t help. Can´t see what the subdials on your watch are for and if this is similar to a J. Lemans alarm watch my wife wears from time to time

Yep, the pic is better but your watch is far away from being identical to the J. Lemans my wife owns so I can´t be of any help.

Looks like the standard Seiko layout. You might look up Seiko directions

    Re: need lotus info setup

I finally figured it out. I moved the wheel (right-lower) two notches out. Then I started to turn the wheel and after 4 quick clicks, it started to move by itslef and I was able to set the time, otherwise it would have been really painful to set the time. Before, I was trying to set the time by pulling the wheel and the middle push button, which by the way, it also motorized the movement, but it always came back. Phew, it took me a loooooooong time to figured it out

    THANKS for all your help.
