Negotiating Watch Accessories

I hear a lot about people negotiating on prices for watches...but is is possible for accessories like straps, deployment buckles, etc?
I just ordered a Bremont Hambleden Leather Nato strap over the phone from the NY boutique.
Called, asked for price, paid it and they said they'll have it shipped to me.
Now I'm wondering if maybe I could have brought the price down to maybe $200 and save a few dollars.

Makes one think of whether they should plan on buying all the goodies for their watch all in one go when they do get the watch. But then buying them one at a time is such a joy as well since it's like renewing your watch.

I think when buying "a la carte" it is what it is pricewise

however when you're buying new as a package with the watch there's definitely more wiggle room !
