Entered into a trade with someone yesterday, was paid some $$ and received the target watch I saw initially, it was a tough negotiation as I had to give up the Elgin with box that I loved so much but what I received is well worth the sacrifice, well to me anyway
That Zenith is in beautiful condition with some rose gold loss to the bezel from years of pocket and polish wear but otherwise it's in beautiful condition and keeps perfect time as it was recently serviced. The movement has the spiral Breguet feature (still researching that but I believe it means it's Breguet's mainspring). Very nice pocket watch.
The Bulova was another trade I made today, I put my Brooks Brothers silk strap on it until I find a nice brown for it. Rose gold case and in beautiful condition as well.
The Brian, Zenith and the Bulova, I've had a pretty darn good week and a half in the world of vintage watches
There will be more to follow on the Zenith, pics of the inside and so forth.
