    New Arrival

Alpina Avalance Extreme Regulator. Saw this in hrWatches about 6 months ago and decided to order. At the time it was highly discounted from an Alpina AD. I almost forgot I had ordered it when it showed up at the door.

Big watch at 48MM and heavy too. All in all a very clean watch for the price.

Many won't like this watch, but i am very happy with it. It is big and bold and has a very crisp look.

Hand Wind Unitas, sapphire front and back, solid link bracelet, stainless steel with pvd bezel (I think, its steel and its black)

    Specifications:Alpina designation AL650
    13 1/2 Line, ebauche 6498
    17 rubies
    Glucydur Balance
    Alternances 21,600 /h
    Nivarox A Spiral
    Manual
Regualteur Hour Hand decentered at 10:30
Bridges decorated with Côtes de Genève
    Platine and bridges Rhodium plated
    Blue screws
    42-hour power reserve

    hi,

Congratulations on your Alpina. Great looks and aesthetics. Looks like it has a nicely made bracelet too.

Ever since I saw a pic of that watch, I have liked it. I like the dial layout and the texture the dial has. Congrats on the Alpina.

    The Avalanche Regulator

I have just ordered the Alpina Avalanche Regulator from a USA dealer. The Avalanche Regulator is less 'extreme'! - that is it is smaller. I expect the watch by the end of this week. Will comment after I have it.

Very nice watch... but a wee bit too big for me. Wear it in good health!

    Question Alpina Regulators

:-S When you say the watch is too large were you looking at the EXTREME model or the smaller AVALANCHE Regulator?

Awesome man... I've liked those models since I first saw them. The dial is a
very cool layout. I don't know if I could get away with the size but I'd probably give it a try.

Sorry, I should have been more clear in my response. I was talking about the 48mm version.
