    New Bernhardt pretty sweet.

My first Bernhardt came in today and I must say I am very happy with the purchase. It's the Binnacle Diver Silver, slightly customized with a black hour hand from their "champagne" version (I like the mismatched hands look). I'm not much on doing watch reviews, but it is a beautiful watch. I love the applied indicies and even the much-maligned Bernhardt logo looks a lot better in person. Says it's a 42, but it seems a bit smaller. Has some decent weight to it (I like a hefty watch). Took it down to Jared's to take some links out of the band (which they did for free)...the jeweler said to just say nice things about them. Fred Amos at Bernhardt was great to work with. I send an inquiry first to ask if they could change out the hour hand. He replied within minutes in the affirmative. I ordered the watch Thursday night and it arrived on Monday. That is great customer service and prompt delivery! Been looking a long time for a silver/black/white diver and this does the trick. Here are a couple of pictures and the link.

"Affordable" just means you end up spending the same amount of money, but end up with a greater number of watches. -MandoBear

I really like the look of that piece. I like the contrast as well but I think I would have also liked both the hands solid black. I really enjoy my Bernhardt!

I’m sure Fred would change both hands if wanted.
