    New IWC Pilot issue

I am in dire need of some info from all watch fanatics and experts!
Just got the new IWC Spitfire 3878 .. looks great, gains about 4 sec's/day... this sounds normal for IWC(?)
Problem is that when I use the "flyback" function the whole movement freezes on occasion, only restarting after a few pushes of the chrono buttons.
Also, when pushing any of the chrono buttons I can see a (minimal) delay on the seconds dail with resultant loss in time.
Is this normal for a new watch with very limited wear? Just scared that this new "in-house" movement is not what it's meant to be?

I'm no expert on that movement, but I would think that there was some sort of problem, especially given the price point of that watch. I'm sure more knowledgeable members will have a more definitive answer, but if it were mine I'd already be back to where I bought it.

Thats not good. Especially for an IWC, take it to the seller, if you bought it at an AD, they'll probably fix it up for free. If you went grey market return it, and get a refund.

It's not functioning properly. It needs to be either repaired or replaced.

Yes, take it back. A flyback function should reset to noon and restart immediately, without lag, or need to push the chrono button more than once.

Yip, thanks for the response guys!
I am planning to get it back to the AD as soon as I get to make the next "big trip" to the city :)
I am mainly wondering if there are others with similar experiences/doubts lurkingout there??
