    new recruit !

wanted to show you new acquisition -1975 British Army issue manual Hamilton G10-been after one for awhile for the right money in the right condition - more substantial than most G10's in size and weight and of course movement, this would be Falkland War issue ,some photos plus whats inside -messing around with straps for it -fixed lug pins of course !! i like the one piece leather strap [ basically a vintage nato with the lower section surgically removed with sharp blade ] love the patina on the markers - incredibly accurate time - bombproof piece of kit

The movement seems in pretty good shape and when it comes to this kind of watch I prefer manual winding movements to automatics. The one piece leather strap looks good and I'm sure you'll going to try a lot of other options.

So....I guess you have a winer!

    Congratulations, Peter!

    Don't even mention, it!

I'm after the new Heritage Avigation watch from Longines, only because of the military looks...but it's a GMT with a 44mm case!

Let's see if I can resist...

The real question is: will the 44mm case be enough to deter you? I bet you'll still buy it.

That one looks like it has a lot of character. Hand crankers are a lot of fun. Congrats on your vintage Hamilton!
