    New Seamaster Pro or Pelagos?

    Hi all.

Iíve previously owned the Pelagos (non in house movement) and loved it but had an issue with it gaining time, got rid forgot about it.

Iíve also had the new seamaster pro grey face. (i lost it and this upsets me)

Anyway, I currently own the blackbay S&G, and I LOVE IT, but I find it a bit too special for everyday wear,

So Iím pining after either a new seamaster again or another pelagos.

What would your choices be and why?

I will probably end up with the pelagos (more toolish and the seamasters bezel is a little bit bling for daily) but Iím interested to see your opinions and if Iím making a mistake.

Also which pelagos version would you buy/recommend if it was your money?

I'd go with the Seamaster. It definitely stands out more than a Pelagos, and looks great.

I like Tudor and the Pelagos, but it occasionally looks like a knockoff Sub, but I guess you could make that argument for a lot of dive watches.

Too tough for me to answer, I’d be stuck as well as I like both equally. Sorry pal good luck

I like and own Omega watches however if it were me I would go with the Blue face Pelagos.
I like the color of the blue dial and not a big fan of the wave dial on the Omega.

If it was me I’d go Seamaster but I get the feeling from the OP that you’d rather we say “get the Tudor” Well, if it’s the one you want “get the Tudor”

I'd go Seamaster. And you already have a Tudor. BUT, if you want the Tudor, get the Tudor because the Pelagos is awesome.

I like the Pelagos more, but prefer the cleaner dial of the ETA generation.

Have you considered the Omega Seamaster 300 MC? I love mine.

I'm wondering why you didn't get your ETA Pelagos serviced. It's THE advantage it has over the in house version - inexpensive local service.

As far as Pelagos vs the new Seamaster, I'd get the Seamaster.

Both are great choices. Pelagos wears bigger than the SMP, but otherwise IMHO it is a toss up.

Either watch is a really good one, although I have only seen the Pelagos in person.

I chose the Pelagos LHD over the blue Pelagos model. To me (my opinion only, yours may vary) the white was "too bright" for me (unlike the beige-ish LHD) and the blue was also far too bright blue for me. But that was under AD lighting, and not outdoors, so who is to say what my feeling would have been if checked under those circumstances.
