    New SOTC Collage + Extras

I recently made this collage for the show your collection in ONE picture thread and have been staring at it ever since. A few points of note...

    1) I own 7 of the 9 pieces below
    2) I have a SubC on order. Expected to arrive in the next 3-300 months
    3) I do not own the Bond watch but the pictured watch or its cousins (2531 or 2220) will complete my collection
    4) I have a very healthy watch rotation except the Bedat which rarely gets worn
    5) Yes the watch rotation will die the day the SubC arrives...
    6) I may flip the Bedat + cash for the Bond
    7) I may be done for several years after that (famous last words)

Eager to hear everyone’s feedback and comments...

Solid. You need something with corners, so if the Bedat goes, replace with Tank or Reverso!

My favorite right now is the Tag Heuer Monaco but can’t pull it off due to size. I wonder if I buy an older model if it would be smaller? And I’m not a huge fan of Cartier or JLC. So maybe I hold onto the Bedat till I find a suitable replacement.

That's a very nice, balanced collection. Nice work, and congrats on the (eventual) incoming of your SubC!

    3-300 months, LOL! Very funny!

Awesome collection. I think you're right that once the subc arrives, your rotation will change dramatically (or cease to exist). Once it arrives, the future of your collection will become much clearer to you. Mine did, I went from 8-10 watches to now 2, SubC and Milgauss (plus a couple beaters).

my prediction: Speedy, IWC, hamilton will leave. You add the Omega Seamaster (great piece and an icon in its own right).

Best of luck with your decisions! Have fun.

With the Sub on its way and an Omega on your “want” list you have the wet side of things pretty well covered and that was the only area I would have strengthened.

Only time will tell. I am very attached to my Speedy and Mark XVIII. Not so much the Hamilton.
