Exclamation New Swiss Army 7750 Alpnach

Hi there, I discovered a new chrono in SA collection this morning inspired by the most important SAF helicopter base in Alpnach.
Movement is a 7750 and price will be 995 Euros or 1395 USD.

not bad at all... Swiss army have definately raised the bar lately for there V7750 movement watches... and also very well priced if retail is 135 it can easily be had for under 1k with retailers discounts.

Didn't exactly plan on this being my first post but...

I find the dial design to be awful myself. The partial Arabic numerals is frankly a bit ridiculous. It would have looked much better had they not included those, or had made them a bit smaller, a-la the 9G-600.

Yeah. Good point. "Eating the numerals" isn't necessary on a Valjoux 7750 chrono. There are better designed dials available.

Funny that the numerals are mentioned.... the more and more I look at it the more I feel the same way. Matter of fact yesterday I said the same thing, why even put partial numbers.

Also funny that I found one of these in a local Macy's on Monday (w/o prior knowledge of it's existence) so of course I had to try it on. I must say, I really liked the look of it a fair amount, but it impressed me more in the case than on my wrist. It seemed very, very lightweight for such a substantial piece. The numeral digestion doesn't really bother me personally, and the propeller second wheel is cool, but the chrono pushers & crown felt very, um, "chinsey" as my grandma might say. Same for the bracelet - seemed well-made just not hardcore enough for the pricepoint. I kinda want to like it more than I do as I think it's visually very cool, but I feel like your money would be better spent on a Hamilton X-Wind.
