Hi all. Been lurking for awhile and soaking up a ton of info. I'm looking for a watch in the $500 or less range that I can wear as an everyday, both in the office and casually on weekends. I'm interested in something different from what the average person is wearing and not the well known brands that people spend money on like Rolex, Breitling (not that those are available for $500). I've found that I like a simple, strong looking watch that doesn't look too busy. Size should be around 40mm. So far, I'm interested in Magrette tiki, Chr Ward c11 and Pansar. Not interested in obvious homages, especially the Panerai since I have some coworkers with the real thing. Anybody have anything else to suggest in this category? I'd like to see how some feel and look before buying online and hope to find some shops in the DC area that carry some of these. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.
