Hi everyone, I'm new to watchuseek. I'm a huge watch enthusiast and thought I would introduce myself with a few pics of some watches in my small collection.
This is first watch I bought about 15 years ago when I didn't know much about watches! It's a quartz tag and not a watch I'd buy today!
This is a Tudor Prince Oysterdate that was given to me about 5 years ago by my brother-in-law. I don't know much about it other than it is genuine and from the model number is dated from around 1966. It's one of my favourites although it's a hopeless timekeeper (loses about 20 seconds a day so I think it needs a professional service!!!).
This is quite a new purchase - it's Seiko Aston 'Earth at Night' model. The is a poor picture but the dial is mother of pearl and really reflects light beautifully. Not to everyone's taste but certainly one of my favourite watches.
This is a Zepplin Hindenburg - a lovely little watch with very special doomed glass (which actually breaks easily as I found I when I dropped it - expensive repair!). Not expensive but gets lots of comments!
My Orient Bambino - cheap as chips but the quality of this watch is like something that would cost 10 times as much - a watch I really love.
This is a Seagull 1963 - an interesting watch (re launched replica model of a 1963 timepiece by Seagull). It has an interesting dial and movement and a nice bit of history that can be easily googled if anyone is interested.
My Hamilton Khaki - lovely ETA movement and super simple and functional - what's not to like?
And this is the newest addition to my little collection - a Grand Seiko Snowflake, which I'm totally smitten with.
I have a few other watches that I like, a Seiko 007, an Vostok Amphibia and even some casio's!
I hope my little collection is of interest!
