I've actually had this watch for a couple of months, but I only recently took it to my watchmaker to do some repairs.
A friend of mine gave me this as payment for a small photo job I did for him. I've always liked the watch, so I was more than happy to take it in trade. However, it didn't take long to figure out why he was so anxious to offer it up. I called it the "Jesse Owens Watch", simply because it ran that fast. When I brought it home, I put it on and, in the span of one hour, the watch had gained eight minutes.
My watchmaker cleaned it, lubricated it, and replaced a small (and I mean small) gear that had a bent tooth on it. It's a Swiss made ETA movement, so I figured it was worth the $85.00 to get it fixed. I stuck a deployment clasp on the strap (that's the only way I'll wear a strap watch), and I'm pretty happy with it.
I'm pretty sure it's a 42mm. It'll be a good knock-around watch:
