New to WUS & starting my collection.

G'day WUS

I just thought a short introduction was in order before I begin the random questions and asking for advice. I found this site quite by accident when looking for watch info and things have quickly spiralled out of control lol. I have been reading and learning for a few months and I am now ready to enter the fray.

I am born & bred in Melbourne Australia and have Swiss wife thus the username. My collection so far is all quartz watches that I purchased in my early to mid twenties based mostly on looks more than anything else. Now at the start of my 30s and after getting the house & wedding out of the way I have a little more spare change to purchase some lovely Swiss mechanical watches. One small thing I am pretty proud of given my geographical handicap is I have purchased all my watches in Switzerland, this though I think is about to come to and end.

A Swiss made wife, eh? I guess if you have your kids in Switzerland they'll (just) qualify for Swiss made as well, LOL

I am currently looking for a couple of watches I can wear in the office (suit 80% of the time) and one for the weekend.

If anyone has recommendations for watch dealers in Melbourne or other parts of Australia that would be much appreciated.
