    Next Purchase

I have saved up quite a bit and am looking for my next purchase. The budget is probably up to $3000.00. Currently in my collection I have:

Longines Master collection moonphase, Ebel Tarawa, Mont Blanc Summit, Tissot Le Locle, Sector sport watch Chronograph

I think I would want something with a bracelet as all my watches mostly have straps. I was looking at the Baume & Mercier Riviera 18K 2 tone..

    Your thoughts

I am not really a fan of B&M watches, what about Tudor, Omega, Wempe, Eberhard & Co. for example ?

at that amount you have many choices. It seems like you have a lot of dressier watches. Why don't you consider something sporty but still exudes quality and prestige.

My choice would be an Omega Planet Ocean. But if you want something dressier, then there's many to choose from.

Omega, Breitling, Oris, TAG, Used Rolex? some IWC's after discount, and many others.

Goodluck with your search and post pics when you have.

Your collection is getting to the size where a few "standards" may be in order. Nearly every collection needs to have an Omega Speedmaster Proffesional. And a Datejust or Sub is always a good idea. Sometimes we feel like bucking the trend but there are reasons why so many people own these watches.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I'm going to go with an Omega or Rolex.

Rolex Sub no date (cost less), Tag Carrera, Omega, like Donf mentioned a standard or staple watch might be a good route to take. Good luck and post picks!

all great suggestions...and just for a little more specificity ( without duplicating the above choices)...breitling colt, breitling sos, omega bond, omega smp 2254 ( if you can find it), iwc spitfire maybe if it's used.
