I've looked all over and can't find a better place to say "hi" than here, so here goes!
I've always had a watch, as long as I can remember, Timex expedition, the first "affordable" calculator watches and now a pair of Seiko "three eye's", which I love! But due to a debilitating back injury, the days of fine watches seem to be over! I used to be very active, tree work, construction, machinist etc..... But now I've taken my interest in weather and run with it! Living in Kansas you learn to keep an eye on the weather, a LOT! So I've gone to storm spotter training, advanced storm spotter training, registered with the local National Weather service, Skywarn and Spotter Network to help keep me occupied, even got my HAM license to be in direct contact with the NWS net.
I found this website while searching for weather applicable watches. First I found the WS4, then the Suunto's, and it went down hill from there! Wish I could afford that right now, and knew how well it would work for my needs, but money is tight! I did manage to snag a Casio SGW-300h off of Evilbay for $25 shipped, so I don't feel bad about that purchase if I hand it down to my son!
So, that's me, Hi!
