    No love for the Hamiltons?

I recently started to aquire a couple of Hamilton watches. I am very impressed with the styling and the quality of these fine timepieces. I picked up the Hamilton Khaki Sunset, and the Frogman titanium vaj 7750 chrono. I dont here much talk on these forums about the Hammys and was just kind of wondering why. They seem like a very high quality brand that is at least fairly popular so I dont know why they dont create more of a buzz on here. Anyone else out here feel the same? As you know, as a complete WIS when you make a purchase on a new watch you love to come back here to the forums and talk about it and get input from other owners. However Im just not feeling the love on the hammys. Whats with this?

Not me. I like my BelowZero hammy but apparently, not enough people like Hammy to have its own thread. Yea..what's up with that? Where's the love?

There's plenty of love for Hamiltons on the forum! It's a without-fail recommendation for people who post 'recommend-me-a-watch' threads in the $500+ range; you don't see much on the public forum, but check out the affordables.

I see a fair amount of Hamilton discussion. For their price point, I think they make very nice watches.

Love mine - great history, great look, good quality, good value.
Surprised there is no forum just for the Hammys

Hamilton is so loved in these forums and others that it is becoming overrated. Every time someone asks for an affordable watch, you can bet a Hamilton will be mentioned along with Stowa, another beloved watch company in these neck of woods.

Hamilton makes a crappy watch. Especially the two I bought.

I have a Khaki Field automatic in 38mm, dark blue dial. A solid but unspectacular piece, attractive and rugged enough for everyday wear. Until I got my Orange Monster, it was my daily "beater".
