    Nomos Ahoi strap suggestions

Love every single bit of my new Nomos Ahoi Atlantic, but Iím not entirely convinced by the original textile strap. Itís thin, essential, perfect fit with the style of the watch, but boy it hurts, itís not soft at all.
They are now selling the watch with a new, woven strap: is it better? Anyone could provide some advice?
Alternatively, they have their classic Horween leather strap, but I would prefer to keep the whole set waterproof (and the leather strap is absolutely not waterproof, as I sadly discovered, but thatís another story).
Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

Yes, I had an Ahoi with their newer woven strap and it was quite comfortable.

In the same vein, I'm also a big fan of Eulit Perlon straps (although I never put one on my Ahoi). If you get the Eulit ones (not the cheaper nylon ones) they are super comfortable and nice looking....

I know it's a bit unorthodox but to mix it up I would toss my Ahoi on Omega mesh from time to time.

I have a hirsch James Calf leather strap that is OK for getting wet. The back is a rubberized material with channels for air.
