Non-Rolex homage GMT with rotating bezel?!

I know they invented it and I think it's brilliant. Love the explorer. The new black and blue. But can justify the price at the moment. Are there any good alternatives? I see plenty of other great dual time or GMTs but I really want the rotating bezel - and these all emulate the Rolex too much for my taste.

Check Steinhart watches. Well made and they use the 2892 derived GMT movement.

Aren't all the Steinhart GMTs with rotating bezels essentially Rolex homages?

I thought the Rolex is a homage to Steinhart, no?

Christopher Ward makes a solid GMT sport watch. You can argue that it's a homage, but I think it's quite distinct. Great bit of kit for the price.

I used to own a Omega Seamaster GMT that I thought was nice.

The "Great White" Seamaster is the best non-Rolex GMT.

    What's your budget?
On top of my mind I know GS SBGE001 has external bezel and the pre owned price is quite attractive (roughly $4000)
If internal bezel is okay, there are several Panerai Radiomir with internal bezel as well such as 184-185 (both 42 mm) and 242 (45 mm) also there are some models with GMT and alarm

On the inexpensive side,I've seen some Russian watches like vostok (IIRC it has internal bezel as well) and there should be some models from the Japanese brands (Seiko 5,Orient,etc...)
