Oakley Hollow Point - anyone know how to remove links?

I am a newbie and this is my first post. I hope I am doing it in the right spot. I got an Oakley Hollow Point and was curious if anyone knew how to remove links. I was able to remove the link on each side of the clasp with an allen wrench. When I try to do the same with the other links I use quite a bit more force than what it took to remove the ones by the clasp and it doesnt budge. I am afraid to go any harder in fear of stripping it. Am I doing something wrong? The manual says to take it to an authorized dealer but the nearest is more than a one hour drive away.

    Anyone done this?

It may help if you could post a pic of the strap, focussing on the link underside and edge, just to give a better idea of the link pins.

Here is an image I got off the web. You can see how on the side of each link there is an allen wrench slot. It is weird because the ones on each side of the clasp came off fairly easy but all the other ones I used considerable more force and they didnt move.

I would personally take the watch off to keep it safe, then use the precision nozzle on a can of WD40 and see what gives.

I'd take the watch off to make sure any plastics/rubber seals don't get contaminated.

If one of them loosens up, loosen them all up, clean up and reattach the watch for sizing.

Hopefully, someone has a better idea, that's my engineering solution

I'm not sure if the manufacturer uses thread lock but whether they do or not heating the female bit of the bracelet link with very hot water may help.
