Ochs und Junior due ore tinta!!!

This just arrived yesterday - I know that I shouldn't say this about a thing, but...

this is love! I had made the decision a few months back, and saved and saved - and yesterday it arrived - the Ochs und Junior due ore (two time zone) tinta.

I apologize for the poor quality of the images - it is really more of a blue of sorts. Referred to as "tintin" blue.

    And the back side -

This is Ochs und Junior's image which might capture it a bit better -

I am so jazzed! A watch conceived by Ludwig Oechslin - and now on my wrist!
Promise more once we've had some time to bond!

To clear up a question I have already had - yes Paul Gerber has worked on some Ochs und Junior designs
but the Tinta is one in which the movement - although unique and definitely modified, is not one of his - he
works on the the very complicated movements such as the anno cinquanta -

That is part of Ochs und Junior's philosophy - cutting down on the packaging and focusing on the watch itself. Came (literally) wrapped in bubble wrap, packed in straw and very securely shipped via Fed Ex!

Very minimalistic, even down to the packaging - and cost effective, too! Nice unique design.
    Best,
