Omega SMP mid size too small?

Hey. Guys I need your honest opinion on this one. I like a wide variety of sizes for watches but I'm curious if the SMP mid size 36mm would look weird or even bad on my 6 1/2- 6 3/4 wrist?

Any info or even pictures would help!

    Thanks a ton,
    Rolando

Also if this belongs in the omega forum more than the public let me know please.

not at all, I think its a great size - the watches proportions suit a moderate size. I couldnt imagine the SMP being a hub cap like some of the PO variants.

for reference, my full size smp and wrist size is 6.75 inch so mid size would look too small imo

I have 6.5" wrists, and to me 36mm is acceptable, but as small as I'd go. I personally think 39mm is the perfect size when I'm not going to a chunky look.

I have a 6.5in wrist, and having tried on both I can say honestly that I only really considered the full sized model. I liked the mid-size as well and would happily wear it, but I am used to an SKX or TSAR for a diver and as such prefer my divers a bit bigger.

I am going to try to put an end to that by posting the correct link .

36mm is the perfect watch size. It should fit your wrist and allow the bracelet to be worn a bit loose for a comfortable fit. Most mechanical movements are built with the 36mm to 39mm size mind. Go much bigger and the day & date display gets pushed closer to the center where they clutter up the dial.

In my opinion - 36mm for a dress watch is fine, but very small for a dive watch. You have to consider that the bezel reduces the size of the dial significantly. A 36mm dress watch has the same dial area as a 39mm dive watch. Best advice is to try the watches in a watch shop and decide for yourself.

Thanks to you all for the information and opinions!

I feel like the 36mm isn't a HUGE difference to the full size. I'll post pictures when I get the watch.

Once again thanks and if anyone has more input feel free to reply!

Yes, it will look too small.

This is a dive watch, not a dress watch. A dive watch is supposed to be larger, so the 41mm version would look right on your smaller wrist. The 36mm version will look like you accidentally put on your wife's or girlfriend's Seamaster. A 36mm dress watch would be fine on your wrist, but not a 36mm dive watch. Go try on a full size and tell me I'm wrong. I won't believe you.
