    Which one?

I am looking at either a Rolex Oyster Perpetual 39mm of an Omega Aqua Terra as my next purchase. Does anyone own both or tried both. I would be grateful for opinions.
    Cheers.

How important is the date to you? I thought I could live without it but have learned that is not the case for me

    Re: Which one?

I had the Aqua Terra but never owned the Rolex but have handled the OP quiet a bit and to me the Rolex was a tick better in finishing and just overall how the watch felt. The bracelet was also better. While the AT is awesome, I think the OP is a little bit more awesome and since you collection has Omega in it why not try out the Rolex. It’s not like your gonna lose much if you decide to sell it after awhile
My collection changes so often I got tired of redoing my signature

Both nice watches. You cannot go wrong with the Rolex, though.

OP for me--the AT is a vintage 'pretender" to me--would get a different watch, different brand for that look.

    Re: Which one?

I owned an aqua terra and, honestly, I expected more.
Is a feeling that cannot be described, but I honestly I felt the watch a bit "empty" and, although, I am a big fan of simple watches without complications, that watch was extremely "empty".

I also tried the Rolex and the effect was different. I guess that probably the proportions among markers, hands, dial mm, etc are giving this kind of sensation.
    At least to me.

I would recommend for you to try them both and to take your time to decide.
