    Which one should I buy?

Still looking for a versatile dress/casual watch, modern without looking like a toy, and not too dressy (like those with bling and jewels), and I seem to have narrowed it down to these three. Looking for opinions on which I should buy. Quality also matters, but I'm not looking for something to last a lifetime; a year or two would be an acceptable lifespan. The main thing about these is they are thin and small (around 36 mm).

I'm not really a fan of either, what's your price range? Between the two though, I prefer the Citizen.

I just saw the prices, with that budget I'd look at anything from Seiko, specifically the Seiko 5.

Hard to beat Skagen when it comes to thin, round-ish Quartz, but I'm gonna vote Citizen for quality.

Any chance of taking a look at Orient or Sea-Gull instead?

I don't think Orient or Sea-Gull make thin watches. Of those three, I find the Citizen particularly handsome. And you would have bragging rights on their Eco-Drive system.

Re: Which one should I buy?

Regarding the suggestions: I haven't seen anything from Seiko or Sea-Gull or Orient that is around 36mm and less than 10mm in thickness.

Also, forgive me for being naive about this, but I'm not fond of the idea of automatic watches on the cheap side, and the ones that seem to maintain a charge and maintain accuracy are expensive.

It seems there is consensus that the Citizen is what I should go for.

Consider a Citizen Stilleto, which is 39mm in diameter, and extremely thin, at 4.7mm. They're Eco-Drives and have sapphire crystals, so they're low maintenance, and they have two hands, so they don't have a ticking second hand to indicate that they're quartz. Look for the Citizen AR1110 and AR1113 series on eBay, they go for about $160 new.
