One Watch Collection - Personal Problem

Just wanted to ask if anyone has issues like mine. When I buy a new watch I actually sometimes like the watch so much I end up wanting to sell my other watches. Maybe I'm too rash or I obsess too much.

Just wanted to ask if anyone has the same issue or feels the same way.
Like when I first got a speedy I went and sold my daily wearer Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial.

Whether talking about watches or anything else beware the honeymoon phase.

Do you regret selling the watch?

Not the Seamaster 300. I actually traded multiple times until I made money by selling and had enough to bank some and then buy something new.
You are 100% right about the honeymoon. It hits me hard.
I'll regret selling my current watches but like I said I'm in honeymoon mode now.

    I guess I don't regret selling that.

I always regret selling my Speedy Mark III but that was a different story.

Kind of, but the opposite. I end up flipping my new watches after a short period of time and going back to my daily wearer.

I think we all wish we had your "problem" of wanting to only own 1 watch. I'm certain 99.999% of folk on watch forums have the exact opposite problem.

When I got my Submariner (16610) I was really tempted to have that be my only watch. To me it's just perfect.

That's literally where I'm at. Any new incoming piece is immediately accompanied by selling-off the previous one, even if there's no reason to do so. Tbh this process is moving ahead of itself, and the selling - or rather, the idea "wait, maybe i should just sell this" happens even before getting the "next" watch.

I honestly have no idea what it would / will take to actually settle with a one-watch-collection. I like the idea of it, in theory, but so far it has always been a matter of "I got a great watch, woooo! WAIT oh wow look at *that* other thing, I could probably get *that*..."

I wish I can have just 1 watch and live happily ever after; but thats not my case.

My Heritage Chrono is the most watch I love in my collection, and I think it will lead whatever watch I get, except for 1, and thats a maybe.

But Ill never sell any watch, just for upgrading maybe.
