    Opinion on Cartier Tank MC

Was looking at watches online and saw these new models from Cartier.

What are your opinions? I really like them. Awhile back, I was looking at a tank Francaise on leather strap, but didn't pull the trigger because although I liked the shape (ratio of length to width) it was too small to fit my wrist.

It seems that Cartier heard my call and created a watch that I wanted lol Hopefully I will try this on later in the week.

I think that this line would directly compete with JLC's reverso, here are some pro's I see:
    -In house movement
    -Strong brand
-Pedigree (tank design is very very old)
    -Modern looks.
-Supposedly it wears very comfortably on the wrist, unlike the reverso which feel like a plank across the wrist.
-Good Pricing (Retail is 6600 with 20% discounts already online) considering this is in-house.

    Plus borrowed pictures!

Would look much nicer with a central second hand, but that would make it not in-house, which I actually prefer anyway.

Like it! Great dial work and the contemporary case/bezel is nice. While I certainly appreciate and respect the Reverso, I think I'd likely get this Cartier on strap and a B&M Hampton (or Ebel Brasilia) on bracelet for the money a Reverso goes for.

I always liked the Cartier Tank, if I had the need for a dress watch and the money to burn I would buy one.

But I agree I like the central second hand much better on the Tank.

Looks nice, but I'm not sure about the wide strap. On smaller wrists such as mine they kinda look odd. One of the reasons I sold the Raymond Weil Don Giovanni, I loved the watch and the overall style, but I just couldnt wear it.

FWIW the Ebel Brasilia is absolutely brilliant on bracelet. Superb build quality and feel.

Watch looks great but not thrilled with the crown. Overall I say it is a winner!
