    Opinion on D.Freemont Unitas

    Hi,

Looking for your opinion and feedback on the new "Unitas Elaboree" model by D.Freemont.

It is Unitas 6497, 42mm, luminous hands (Pictures from D.Freemont website)

I am impressed with the decoration and execution of the movement and seriously considering purchasing this watch. I just read that this company is local to Arizona even though watches are Swiss made.

    Cheers,

    Bhanu

I'm not crazy about the hands, but I'd like to strap that baby on.

Not bad, but here´s another variation of an Unitas (Stowa Marine Auto by Benzinger)

Don´t like the hands of the DFreemont. The hour hand seems a bit to short, the second hand is there but hard to read imho.

At a "slight" increase in price.

I have a d.freemont Celtic (2 actually) and it is a very nice watch for the money. The finish is excellent and it runs like a top and is as accurate as any of my more expensive watches.

Thank you for your input gentlemen.

I recieved my Stowa MO couple of weeks ago I think I have the handwound bug lately. Mike, you know there is no cure for my bug

I will view the d.Freemont watch in person and make a decision by next weekend.

    Cheers,

Sure there´s an increase in price but I just wanted to let see what´s possible with such an Unitas movement.
