I love mine. The dial is a little hard to read at first. Separating the hour/minute hands from the sweep second stopwatch and date indicator takes some getting used to. It is a little dressy for everyday wear imo.

It seems to have a lot of admirers around here and I see a lot of people considering it so it must be a solid choice. I would somewhat agree with tmetcalf52. The dial is a bit too cluttered for my eye, and it seems like it might be a bit too dressy for a daily wearer, unless you trend a bit toward the formal side.

My fav 7751 is the Sothis Ikarus. Unfortunately they were only made in 2005 in limited quantities (500). The dial detail is fantastic and the style is unique. They show up used once in a great while. The movement was decorated quite tastefully too.

It's a beautiful watch and I love mine. Of course since it gives you so many things all together it is not easy to read it at a glance but I assume that the reason why one buys it is exactly that it gives you so many things ...

Didn't love mine until I put it on a custom strap. Now it's one of my favourites.

Abit too cluttered for my liking.

If you're looking for a moonphase.. how about this instead

Totally agree, although it does lack the chronograph.

The 7751 is a good movement, and the ultimate in terms of complications per dollar, but it always comes off looking...very disorganized. I don't mean to offend, I'm not saying it's hideous either, but it's not how I'd have done it. The Double Retrograde above, conversely, has a much cleaner design I think (and is also a variation on the 7750). However, it is my view that retrograde hands should point inward instead of outward because this makes them more difficult to confuse with the main hands. Still, love the Retrograde. Would happily own one.

All that said, I do like Longines' take on the 7751 and it's easily one of the best looking examples of it. Their master collection in general is really quite fetching.
