    Opinions

Normally Iíve sold a watch to fund buying some specific one Iíve decided I just have to have. Iím about to have $1,300 in my hands from the sale of one, and really donít have any specific watch in mind. It wonít be a diver as I already have enough of those. Donít need anything close to a dress watch. Just want a high-quality, robust, good looking, casual watch no bigger than 40mm. Right now the front-runner is a Damasko DA34. Interested in your opinions about what other (new) watches you feel would fit within this price.

No need to spend the $1300 just because you have it. Save it for a bigger purchase down the road.

Lot's of nice Hamilton sports watches in the $500 range. The Sinn 556 would be a nice buy in the $900 range pre owned.

    Re: Opinions

My choice would be the something from the Hamilton Khaki line as someone else has suggested (field 38 or the khaki king) well built, great daily wearers and relatively cheap

At the top end of your budget id look at an Oris Big crown propilot (40mm) Stowa flieger classic, Sinn 556 or Damasko DA34
