Opinions on ETA 7750 vs Sellita SW500?

I'm trying to decide on which watch to purchase. One uses the Sellita SW500 and another uses the H21, both of which I believe is based on the ETA 7750.

Any thoughts or experiences you can share with me. Pro's/cons to either?

    Thank you :)

The H21 is in fact Hamilton's branded version of the 7750. What's great about the 7750 is that it's become ubiquitous and can be serviced anywhere. Parts will be available well beyond our lifetimes.

So far I've never had any trouble with any 775x based movements, no matter by whom they were made or modified (Eta, Hamilton, Alpina, Eterna,..).

To me, Eta or Sellita would not influence the decision.

This question -as it is posted here - would not be relevant to me. ETA 7750 vs. Sellita 500 is apple vs. apple. What chronographs are we talking about here ?

I am considering either the Hamilton Jazzmaster Chronograph H32596141 (H21) or the TAG Heuer Aquaracer CAY2112 300M (Sellita 500). Both are blue dial versions.

    Thank you :)

Will this be true also of the Sellita SW500 found in the TAG Aquaracer 300M?

    Thank you :)

Between those two, I'd pick the Laco Phoenix.

I agree with the others, movements are basically the same so buy the one you like the most. Of all the 7750 variations out there, I like what Longines does with their column-wheel version. It's exclusive to Longines and gives them a little bit of an edge compared to the others, at least in my assessment. With so many watches out there with 7750 based movements, you have to find your differentiators where you can.

Here are a couple of the Longines just to spice up the conversation.

I have had plenty of good experiences with the SW200 so had no qualms about getting my first SW500 based watch. As movements I’d say that there wasn’t a deal between them.
