    Opinions/Thoughts - Blue Dial Chrono

    Hi,
I recently landed a new job and decided to treat myself to a new watch :) I have been very interested in a blue dial chrono like the Baume & Mercier Capeland 10065 (Blue dial; great deals in the GM for about $1700). My other options are in a used Tag Monaco or a used Hamilton PanEurop (though I know used for both are slightly more than the new B&M).
I would really appreciate thoughts/opinions and any suggestions on a blue dial chrono.
A bit about my fledgling collection - I have an Orient Diver and a Laco flinger, so I have pretty much covered the sea and air - and I am now looking at conquering the lands! This will probably be my most expensive purchase and I want to use this as my daily watch. I would prefer a chrono with in a blue dial. Any other suggestions will be appreciated as well.

    Thanks in advance.

Reading your post I can’t help but think that you just want a bit of a push towards the B&M. If so then consider yourself pushed.

Closest I've ever gotten to any of those models was trying a regular, non-chron PanEurop. Thought it looked fantastic, I don't get excited about many watches in that way. As usual, I suggest you try to avoid size issues... but the blue on the PanEurop really pops, and the whole package is something special.

One of my default recommendations is always Certina. Great watches

I posted a similar thread and there are some great suggestions in there. End of the day, after a couple of days on the wrist, I don’t care if it’s a little big, this watch is a beauty and I’m going to keep it. The blue sunburst dial is stunning. It looks vibrant blue in some light and almost black in others. Anyways, this would be my choice!

I backed this on Kickstarter intending to get the blue with the blue suede strap because it looked so great but ended up with a /reverse set. I still look longingly at the blue though. Automatic with the Seiko NE88A column wheel chronograph movement.

It is available for pre-order on their website.
