I have a PAM25 which is just over a year old. I haven't worn it for about 4 days so when I put it on this morning I needed to move it to put some power in it. Since giving it a good shake the small second hand is rotating smoothly as it should, but the minute hand is not moving it's as if the watch is still stopped, but it's not as the seconds are moving and you can hear the ticking... Any ideas?

Did you try winding it?

Do you have to wind an auto movement?

yes sir you have to wind it for it to wrk

I never knew that... I assume with the crown pushed in?

Not sure how that watch operates but maybe pull out the crown to all of its positions and move the minute hand around the dial manually, then manually wind it some and re-seat the crown and see what you've got...

Thanks all. Tried all that still no movement from the minute hand but seconds are sweeping... Never had any problems before, but that said it's never been unworn for more than a day before. Strange.

I have been having a similar problem with my pam312. Sometimes after setting the time and fully winding the watch the hour hand just wouldn't move. Since it's less then a year old and still under warranty I have decided to ship it to the RSC for revision. Different movements but still similar problem.

Yes I am taking mine to Berry's tomorrow and filing a warranty claim.

Panerai warranty is 2 years right?
