    Is Pansar a fashion brand?

I just noticed 2 nice watches:

The first has a 7$ movement and it costs 640$
The second has a stunning 19$ movement but costs 880$

Would you call this brand a Fashion brand?
I omitted the brand name to avoid biased decisions, just facts

I don't think anyone can determine the type of brand just by the price of the movement...

A lot of other factors are in play here.

My point is that when the movement/technical value is negligible vs MSRP the brand just sells an image with little substance: 633$ for a nice dial/case is an awful lot of money.

MSRP is not always an accurate representation of the value of a watch, base your decision upon the actual price at which you can obtain it. Also the technical value is not limited to the movement. Materials(ceramics, precious metals, tungsten carbide etc.), case and dial design and shape, sapphire crystals, strap material(alligator, ostrich, shark etc.), solid construction and water resistance, other gimmicks and just overall precise machining at tight tolerances is a lot more expensive than the actual movement, be it quartz or automatic.

I’m gonna stand on the fith amendment on this one, cause it's a known fact that Pops wll more then likely embarrass himself when you post the actual watches in question...

Seriously though, look how much an base ETA cost in relation to the MSRP of the watches that utilize this engine.

The movement price hints that it's a quartz.

Statistically speaking, most quartz watches in that price range are hardcore fashion watches. I'll need to see the dial for a final verdict, but anything funky or tacky is going to seal the deal.
I'm content with my watch collection

    1. What defines a fashion brand. Is it a brand that changes designs to keep customers interested and buying watches? If not then what exactly.

    2. You provided way too few "facts" to allow anyone to evaluate your mystery watches.
