    Patience...

...is when you knock over your entire set of 800-count neatly organized spring bars onto the carpet, and then carefully one-by-one put them back into their correct sized compartments.

Real patience... is when the maid is picking up the spring bars one at a time and she grabbed a uniform that is a little too small for her and missing a button or two...

    Re: Patience...

If I drop a small, important part, it will always bounce and/or roll under something as far away from me as possible and in a way that would be impossible to duplicate if deliberately planned.

If it's an inconsequential and unimportant item I drop, it will fall right in front of my feet in plain sight.

Yeah, I just don't know how one accumulates that many. I've been at this a long time. Long before I started coming around here. I bought a toolkit that came with a lot of springbars in various sizes, and I've bought a lot of straps that came with extra springbars. I don't have anywhere near 800 of the things. I don't think I own 100 of them.
