    Perrelet Skeleton

On my trip to St Thomas my watch guy showed me, well tried to sell me a Perrelet Skeleton. I am not familiar with Perrelets but it was an impressive looking piece. Any input would be appreciated.

Nice looking skeleton, allthough with a 7750, I prefer the look of the
Chronoswiss - Opus. This brand is most know for the double-rotor, one
on the face of the watch; cool! Abraham-Louis Perrelet was a watch
making genius for his time and was the inventor of the automatic
watch, pocket watch. I keep thinking that you have to do cartwheels
to wind it. Many think that it was Perrelet who inspired Brequet.

Not that wide spread but recommended regarding quality and value. LOUIS-ABRAHAM PERRELET is often called the "undisputed father of the perpetual watch". I do like these "bi-rotor" models.

I lookes at the dual rotor models also but they did nothing for me. The Perrelet was reasonably priced and easy to read.

Perrelet make some beautiful pieces. This one has been one of my "Objects of Desire" since I first saw one. I doubt I'll ever be able to afford the six figure price though.
