    Allow me to share this NOS Certina DS4 which I received today as a surprise from a very good friend!

    Thanks Mike, the dial looks white in the pics I took, but actually it is silver color. It still has the purple seal on the back. The bracelet is too small for me, that's why my wife put it on for the pictures. I really like the case design and may end up getting myself a DS3 some day. This one I will treasure as a wonderful gift from a very good friend.

    I'm now looking for more information about the DS4.

    I'd say cherish that friend.
    I allways liked that watch, it's a classic.
    Is this the one with the in-house 919-1 movement?
    Look at the Gisbert Joseph watches site, lots of Certina pics, including movements.

    Thanks Daddel, I will cherish it, no doubt about that. As for the movement, I don't know, I need to learn about this watch and already searched in the internet, but apart from eBay links (dead links) there seems to be little to find :-S
