Not really my cup of tea. Just seems confused about what kind of watch it wants to be. The dial seems like it's trying to go for dress, but the numerals go in another direction, and I don't feel like the hands fit either. I'd be much more inclined to go with something like a Seiko SRP701 if I wanted an inexpensive large dial dress watch.

No offense, but honestly, I wouldn’t consider a cheap watch as part of my collection.

I have been a long time collector though, so there’s a curve

I started my collection with Bulovas and they make solid and reasonably priced watches. If you get them grey market they are often excellent deals for the money. However, if you have a more expensive “grail” in mind you should save up for the grail instead of buying a number of inexpensive watches you kind of like. That way you curate a solid collection rather than a mishmash of styles and brands without a specific theme.

Nice looking watch with a good movement. I say wear it and enjoy it.

Are you still enjoying the watch? Where's a wristshot?

Bulova could use some fresh blood on their team but I still like them. I'd gladly wear a Marine Star and would like to see more offerings with their precisionist movements.
