    Pilot Watches...Which One

I have narrowed my Flieger choice down to two watches. Both are quite different. Which would you select...what about it makes it the one?

depends on what kind of look you're after. sinn looks like a stylishly badass tool watch and the RGM looks more clean and classic.

for me, it would be the sinn! more unusual looking.

Small seconds as an element of aviation watches went out ca. in WWII ... ever since aviators have required a central sweep second hand.

The Sinn has vastly superior specs. (hardened case, dry technology, antimagnetic protection, low-pressure-resistant crystal seating) and decidedly more functionality, not to mention a distinctive style of its own.

The RGM, I am sorry to say, is an amalgamation of a number of style elements.

    I'd go for the Sinn.
    Cheers,

Both are great watches with great quality. I'd go for the Sinn, love the GMT function, the bezel, the overall look. I don't care for the sub-seconds dial, the onion crown or the hands on the RGM.

The Sinn rocks. Get it and you won't be disappointed!

Well, the RGM is a mix of styles, not what I´d call a "pure" Flieger so I wouldn´t go for the RGM. I wouldn´t go for the Sinn UTC either if looking for a pilot´s watch.
I`d go for the Sinn 756, 757, 556 or 656 (pure Flieger design) if it has to be a Sinn.

The choice is simple (for me, anyway) SINN! Superb styling, superb technology. And the price is right too!

I'd go for the Sinn. I hate cathedral hands, so the RGM is out for me. The Sinn has more classically flieger styling, though not spot-on, as Mike pointed out. Also, the name recognition for Sinn is better, so if you ever decide to flip it, you'll probably take a smaller depreciation loss.

Thanx guyz...I love RGM and will consider their watches, but I think you are right that for a Flieger, the Sinn wins.

The 756 is quite a looker also,

I vote Sinn, if you have not checked out Fortis here is nice one around $950 w/o discount.

Better to regret something you have done, than something you haven't done...
