of course I could add to your list of watches that you might be interested in, but I'll stick to what you already have since you obviously display interest in them already. To each his own, but my choice from your list would be the aquanaut. its versatile, sleek, unique, and a beauty imho. it also flies slightly more under the radar then say a submariner while still being of the highest quality. if someone gave me an aquanaut and said "here wear this watch everyday for the next year", I think I gladly would. whatever you choose wear in good health, but my votes for the aquanaut

IMO, from these, the Explorer or the Black Bay. The current generation of the Explorer has the design issues of the first 39mm fixed. Rolex has done literally everything to screw up the Sub (lugs and crown guards suffering from elephantiasis), the current Aqua Terra is unexciting, the Aquanaut - revolting, Sinn is OK.

If the Sub’s on your shortlist it’s cert as far as I’m concerned.

I think the current Explorer is the best from a design perspective and most useful for every day since it works in almost any situation. Another option not on your list:

Submariner without a doubt from your list.
Or off list - Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch.

I'm a big Aquanaut fan, particularly the 5164 (though I know you listed the 5167). Rolex makes great watches (of which I own two), but the PP 5167 is the ultimate daily watch.

I think the Rolex Explorer might be the most versatile watch on the market. I’d go with that

Please don't tell me you're going to let people on a forum decide what you should spend that much money on. And if you aren't, what's the point in this?
