Please help me find my very first watch

    Hi All

I am currently looking to purchase my first real watch.
After browsing Watchuseek for some time, I am hoping to invest in something more timeless and of higher quality than my past low-end watches (Swatch, Mickey Mouse watch, etc.).

    • [Budget]: $250~1200$.
    • [Quartz or Mechanical] : I do think Mechanical is quite beautiful and fascinating.
    • [Length of Usage]: Minimum of 5-10 Years.
    • [Attire]: Causal/Daily & Dressy.
    • [General Style of Dress] : I am 21 and in college, I would like it to look classy. I would love recommendations as i haven't owned a watch since i was about 10 years old.
    • [Wrist Size]: 6.5 inches or 16.5 cm
    • [Strap]: I'm open to any suggestions, i like leather strap.
    • [Brand or Nationality Preference]: Switzerland if possible.

Please feel free to ask questions or critique.
    Many thanks in advance.

$250 to $1200 is a very wide budget. What end of that scale are you more inclined towards really, the $250?

I don't think that a tag heuer or omega costs less than $250...

anyway the maximum which I can put is 1200$

Start by looking at Seiko and working your way to. Check out the divers like the Skx007 and Monsters, if not the Sumo. Those are all at the bottom end of your budget.

You're not going to really get an Omega that you'd be after in that budget. You could get a Tag, the F1's are good first watches.

You could also look at C.Ward they have a great choice of affordable Swiss Made watches.

There are other questions members may ask, but the most obvious is:

    Male or Female.
