My suggestion would be to start over. Look for watches that would go with the way she dresses.

I'm assuming it's some cheap fashion watch from a Burlington's or Ross mainly because I've never seen a watch with such huge and miscolored crowns at 2 and 4 oclock. The strap (or bracelet?) looks really small too. I almost wonder if it's a men's watch because it appears really thick for a woman's watch.

Unless she is wearing the watch upside-down, the crowns (or pushers) are at 8 and 10.

Something like this with larger pushers:

Nuh uh. Not without the story behind it.

In the meantime, it would help to have information about the approximate year the picture was taken, country, and any other potentially useful details. If this was her watch, perhaps she could tell you at least whether it is quartz or automatic.

Still, those pushers look significantly bigger than any watch I can think of.

I've got nothing on the watch.
But, is that a man or woman in the pic? And WT# are they wearing on the lower half?

The crowns (or pushers) look pronounced, certainly, but don't seem to be oddly colored -- seems more a trick of the light. Looks to be stainless steel on a bracelet and about 40mm? If it's a fashion watch purchased recently, perhaps:

maybe a bit more into the story might help,
who is this picture of? who took the photo? does the future mom in law specifically told you she likes the watch that person is wearing?

if so, why not ask that person or someone who would know or can find out?
