Please Help Me Pick My First GMT!!!

    Hello,

I've grown a bit bored of my dive watches and would like to buy a more refined (but possibly still sporty) GMT for the intention of daily wear. I would also like the watch to look good on a brown (of some sort) leather strap and retail for less than $1,500. Below are my top two contenders:
    The Monta Atlas https://montawatch.com/products/atlas

and the Christopher Ward C65 https://www.christopherward.com/c65-vintage-gmt-644499

I don't like overly busy GMTs (one set of alternate time zone markers is plenty) and I think these two are the best options at my price point. Please let me know which one you would choose and why. If you insist on torturing my soul, feel free to submit other candidates for consideration that fit my criteria that I may have missed. Thanks!!!

So from your 2 contenders, I prefer the Monta - hands down (even though I do like Christopher Ward watches, just not that one as much).

Unfortunately, I am intent on torturing your soul... 😈

Of the two you suggested, the Monta is my preference by far. The clean bezel and the dial color make that watch stand out. The Zelos GMT previously suggested also looks better than the C Ward, in my opinion.

    I think the obvious contender...

I'd get the Monta in a heartbeat. Check out Farer, too.

The Monta GMT looks quite sharp. That would be my pick.

Wow, no love for that CW eh? I think I'm leaning towards that one since I want this to be a daily wear sort of watch, I'm starting to think the Monta is a bit too dressy. If I'm looking for a dress GMT down the line I might revisit their Atlas model, but in a black dial. It is truly a gorgeous watch!
