Please people, post patina pictures in the public place.

I saw threads in the dive forum but nothing specific in the public forum for showing off bronze patina. The past few weeks of extreme humidity finally got my Steinhart to start developing after 10 months. Aluminum bronze can take awhile-but well worth the wait. Even the buckle got into the act. The Zoretto is the CuSn6 alloy and started a lot faster. In the right light the Zoretto patina matches the dial color. It's interesting to see the unique develoment over time.

Indeed, the Zoretto patina can be epic ....

This spring, I will do Everest without oxygen. I did all my peaks without oxygen except Everest. I just want to continue be happy, doing what I love—climbing mountains.

    That's some nice alliteration OP

I played around with a salt and vinegar combo this weekend.

Still extremely mild (bit of an understatement) but it’s getting there. I’m still wondering if patina is for me.

This is a fad I just don't really understand. Glad you guys like it, but to me it just looks dirty.

Some of those pics of the lugs and clasp look like my bracelets when I haven't cleaned them for a few weeks.

If I have to explain?......but, in short is all about a marine weathered , vintage looking vibe , not for everyone I admit ,different strokes for different folks...yet for the record there is a difference between a patina (like in the posted pics) and "looking dirty" (like in your bracelets) I'll dare to said, a big difference

+1 for fantastic alliteration. Cool pics too.

I'm not necessarily against patina, but I prefer the new bronze look, which is why I have my eye on some of the Hentschel bronzes which are coated to never show patina. I can understand patina if it is done naturally, because of course that indicates history, memories, and use. Forced patina, however, is not my cup of tea.

Not the best pic to show it off, but my Zelos just started to develop a Patina a few week ago.Name: IMG_0213.JPG

Not a fan of patina but if it floats your boat... (unintentional pun)
Well, I was standing on a corner in Winslow, AZ and Clara Oswald slowed down to take a look at me and my GS Tiffany SnowflakeTM...
