    PMWF.com Server Down

As WUS and PMWF.com share a number of users I wanted to post an update for those who might be wondering what happened to PMWF and when it might be back.

On Thursday, November 13 at approximately 1:00 PM GMT PMWF.com was taken down by our web host. We have been working diligently to restore access to the site. At this time we have moved to a new server and are awaiting the DNS change and subsequent propagation throughout the webs. If things continue as we plan we hope to have the site restored by the end of the weekend.

In the meantime, we do have a PMWF Backup Site that users can visit to post our regular PMWF fare and for further updates.

Thank you, Ernie, for allows us to share this update on WUS.

In a nutshell what had happened was >>>

that our Web Host NetAccess (nas.com) blamed our server for creating too much traffic and thus disabling other sites on that server.

Instead of helping us resolving the matter, they simply shut down our site and the whole PMWF.com domain.

Tim, our IT magician could prove that it was not the PMWF.com that caused the problem.

To make matters worse, our Web Host NetAcess said if we wanted to keep the site on their servers, we had to pay 7 (in words) times the old hosting fee.

Thus we decided to move away. I think you all will understand that. Now thanks to Tim, we are already back.

    Best regards
